Great to meet you!

Welcome, and thank you for visiting my Psychology Today profile. I'm a licensed psychotherapist with over 20 years of clinical experience, and I appreciate you taking the time to learn more about me. I’m a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and trained EMDR practitioner, deeply committed to helping individuals heal, grow, and become their best selves.

My passion for helping others led me to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Georgia State University (1996) and a Master of Social Work from the University of Georgia (1999). Over the years, I've worked in diverse clinical settings including nonprofits, hospitals, and schools, offering therapy to individuals (children and adults), couples, and groups.

I offer virtual sessions and have received specialized training in:

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
  • Prepare/Enrich for couples
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
  • Trauma-informed care

Taking the first step toward change takes courage, and I commend you for being here. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and compassionate space where you can feel seen, heard, and empowered. Together, we’ll tailor your therapy experience to meet your unique needs and goals.

Let’s connect. I offer a free phone consultation and would be honored to support you on your journey. 📞 Call me at (404) 445-8545.

I look forward to hearing from you.

My approach to therapy

I have received specialized training in Prepare/Enrich, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma treatments ( I am EMDR trained and a trained Clinical Trauma Professional)

What you can expect from me

Working with me is a bit like having a motivational GPS—minus the robotic voice. Clients leave sessions feeling hopeful, encouraged, and armed with a solid plan (not just vague vibes). We’ll figure out what you want, why you want it, and how to actually make it happen—without burning out or spiraling.

The vibe? Think cozy coffee shop meets creative brainstorming lab. It’s warm, collaborative, peaceful, and sometimes even fun (yes, growth can be fun). I bring a mix of calm energy, practical tools, and just enough structure to keep things moving—plus a healthy dose of humor, because healing doesn’t have to be heavy all the time.
