Great to meet you!

Part of my work as a trauma therapist means that I deeply understand the nuances and intersectionalities of your lived experiences & the ways your identity, family history, culture, and relationships shape how you move through the world. I approach therapy with the understanding that healing is not one-size-fits-all, and that your experiences cannot be separated from the systems, relationships, and environments that have influenced you.

As the youngest of five and as a Latina, I know firsthand what it’s like to grow up in a collectivist family where expectations, loyalty, and unspoken rules can quietly shape who you become. I understand the push and pull between wanting to honor where you come from while also trying to make space for your own needs and voice.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas, trained in EMDR, and I integrate parts work, attachment-based approaches, somatic practices, and a relational-cultural lens into my work. My goal is to create a therapeutic relationship that feels collaborative, grounding, and human.

Whether you identify as BI+POC 16+, people pleaser, an outcast, neurodivergent, deeply feeling, perfectionistic, or somewhere in between, your story belongs here. This is a space where your roots are honored and your healing is allowed to unfold at your own pace.

My approach to therapy

I'm a deeply relational person at heart! I use trauma-informed approaches like parts work, attachment theory, and relational-cultural therapy to help you heal from painful experiences and be empowered to approach your story and relationships with authenticity.

My clients tend self-identify as people pleasers, outcasts, neurodivergents, BIPOC, deeply feeling, perfectionists, and beyond. Unearth your true self, celebrate your roots.

What you can expect from me

In your first session with me, you can expect a warm, relational beginning where we start by getting to know one another and exploring why you're here, with no pressure to deep dive before you feel ready. This is as much an opportunity for you to learn about me and my style as it is me to understand you and your story. I commit myself to fostering an inclusive and safe space that honors your unique identities, and brings your humanity back into the room.
