Great to meet you!

Courtney Hills takes a holistic and trauma-informed approach to help navigate barriers that keep you from achieving your goals. Courtney has over a decade of experience in the human services field with an extensive background of various populations served, especially those going through life transitions and those who favor a mind, body, and soul approach to healing.

My approach to therapy

I was drawn to this field by an interest and inquisitiveness regarding human behavior, emotional resilience, as well as psychological, social, and spiritual complexities within the healing model. I am motivated by the ways we carry pain, build and find purpose/meaning, and connect with other humans. I bring both the objectivity of a trained professional and the compassion of someone who genuinely listens and has walked through their own life experiences. People require safety, curiosity, and a mirror that reflects their strengths and blind spots. My practice is shaped by meeting each person where they are in their journey, with an emphasis that no one fits perfectly into a singular box.

What you can expect from me

We’ll explore what’s bringing you in, your hopes for therapy, and any previous experiences that might shape how we work together. My goal is always to help clients feel more empowered, self-aware, and equipped to navigate life with greater ease and authenticity. I work best with clients who are curious, open, and willing to engage in the process, even if they’re feeling stuck or scared. I’m drawn to working with folks navigating identity exploration, life transitions, trauma recovery, and relationship struggles. I value emotional honesty and humor when it fits. The clients I connect with most deeply are often seekers, people looking not just for symptom relief but for meaning, integration, and growth.
