I have over ten years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families who come to therapy for a variety of concerns. I have worked in an Intensive Services treatment program and completed internships focusing on acute care of adolescents and the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder in adults.
It is really important to me that you find a good clinical fit in therapy. I sincerely view you as being the person in charge of making sure that I am the appropriate person to help you reach your therapy goals and to make the most of the time spent in sessions. I pull from a variety of therapeutic approaches to tailor your therapy experience to you and your needs.
My hope is that in working together I can provide you with the skills necessary to feel confident in your ability to manage what is going on in your life. We will develop a structure to your sessions that makes sense and helps us check in on progress towards goals. In between sessions you may be asked to practice with skills or complete assignments so we can learn together what works best for you!
