Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Courtney! I’m a licensed clinical social worker with over 15 years of experience in the field of behavioral health. Originally, from the midwest but have called Colorado home for the last 14 years. I am a dog lover, flower enthusiast and I enjoy spending my free time on photography, reading, practicing yoga and being outdoors.

My professional journey has been driven by a deep belief that everyone deserves to be seen & understood. Creating connection through authenticity has always been a tenant of who I am both professionally and personally. I am committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for the people I am working with. Should we choose to work together, I hope to hold the space so that you can explore their thoughts and feelings without judgement, heal from past experiences, and build a fulfilling and meaningful life you feel connected to.

Much of my career has been focused on working with individuals who are experiencing major life changes from adolescence to becoming an adult in the world as well as he major shift a person experiences when becoming a parent.

I am currently offering virtual & in-person therapy sessions to clients in Colorado. Check out my website at balanceandbloomcounseling.org for more details!

My approach to therapy

I am a connection and relationship oriented clinician who uses a trauma informed approach in her work known as the ARC model. This stands for attachment, regulation and competencies. I am a firm believer that the best work in therapy is created from a space of trust and connection led through authenticity from both client and clinician.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to feel seen, heard, supported and challenged in sessions with me. My hope is that clients who choose to work with me walk away from session feeling empowered and safe enough to practice skills covered in session in the world to build a life they feel connected to.
