Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Courtney Leazer, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Texas A&M University–Commerce. I’ve spent the past five years working in the mental health field, supporting individuals through a wide range of emotional challenges and life transitions.

I know that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and genuinely supported from the very beginning. You don’t have to have everything figured out to start—just a willingness to show up as you are.

My approach to therapy

I take an eclectic, individualized approach to therapy because no two people experience life the same way. Together, we’ll build a treatment plan that reflects your unique needs, goals, and pace. I often draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on identifying and reshaping unhelpful thought patterns, while also incorporating other approaches depending on what feels most helpful for you. Therapy with me is collaborative—we’ll work side by side to better understand what’s going on beneath the surface and create meaningful, lasting change.

In our work together, you can expect to develop practical coping skills to manage stress, regulate emotions, and navigate day-to-day challenges with more confidence. We’ll also explore how emotional experiences show up in your body, helping you build awareness and tools to feel more grounded and in control. Over time, the goal is not just symptom relief, but helping you feel more connected to yourself, more resilient, and more aligned with the life you want to live.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s been bringing you in, what you’ve been struggling with, and what you’re hoping might feel different moving forward. There’s no pressure to share everything all at once—this is your space, and we’ll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

I truly believe that growth is possible for everyone, even in moments when it feels out of reach. You are capable of more than you may feel right now—and you don’t have to figure it out alone.
