Great to meet you!

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure why things haven’t gotten better yet, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to keep guessing your way through it. I’ve spent many years working with adults who are dealing with everything from everyday stress and anxiety to more intense, long-term challenges, sometimes mixed with substance use. I truly enjoy getting to know people as real humans, not just a list of symptoms, and I bring warmth, respect, and even a little humor to help you feel comfortable and understood. My goal is to be someone you can trust while we work toward helping you feel steadier and in control of your life

My approach to therapy

I believe the best results come from working as a team. That means listening carefully to your story, your stressors, your strengths, and what you actually want to be different in your life. I take time to explain options in plain language, talk through the pros and cons, and make decisions with you, not for you. There’s no one-size-fits-all plan here. We choose next steps thoughtfully, adjust along the way, and focus on what’s truly helping, based on both what research shows and what you’re feeling day to day.

What you can expect from me

Your first visit is about slowing things down and really getting the full picture. We’ll talk about what’s been going on, what you’ve tried before, what’s helped, and what hasn’t. We’ll also look at your goals and what you’d like life to feel like moving forward. You don’t need to have perfect answers, just come as you are. By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer understanding of what might help and what our next steps could look like. If you’re ready to stop feeling stuck and start moving toward stability and clarity, I’d be glad to work with you.
