Great to meet you!

I graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2011 with a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling. I am a licensed mental health counselor who has practiced throughout the South Florida region. I started working with the chronic and persistent severe mental health population before transitioning into working with individuals with substance abuse disorders. I have extensive experience working at multiple treatment centers, providing dual-diagnosis treatment to clients.

My approach to therapy

As a therapist, I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy while maintaining a focus on cognitive behavioral and solution-focused modalities. For trauma, I utilize, at times, the Internal Family Systems Model, which aids clients in finding the parts of self they reject or have shame and cannot accept and utilize parts work to integrate these “unacceptable” parts into wholeness and love by Self.

What you can expect from me

There is no “one size fits all” way to provide psychotherapy. Therapy should be collaborative between therapist and client. I believe in clear and direct communication with my clients so they are part of the process and feel safe and comfortable during their sessions.
