Great to meet you!

You might be exhausted from overthinking everything, struggling to get motivated, or feeling like stress follows you from work into your relationships and home life. Maybe ADHD makes it difficult to stay organized and follow through, anger gets the best of you in the moment, or alcohol or substances have become a way to shut your mind off when things feel overwhelming. I work with teens and adults who are tired of feeling stuck in these cycles and want practical ways to regain control. You don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out, and you won't be judged for the ways you've learned to cope. My goal is to help you understand what's keeping you stuck, recognize the strengths you already have, and start making changes that actually fit your life.

My approach to therapy

I want therapy to give you something you can use outside of our sessions, not just a place to talk for an hour. Together, we'll identify the thoughts, habits, and reactions that may be contributing to your anxiety, depression, anger, or relationship problems and find realistic ways to respond differently. That might mean learning how to slow down before an argument gets out of control, manage an overwhelming week without shutting down, or find healthier ways to cope when you're tempted to drink or use substances. We'll focus on what's within your control while also learning how to handle the difficult thoughts and emotions you can't simply switch off. The goal isn't perfection; it's helping you make meaningful changes that last.

What you can expect from me

You don't need to show up knowing exactly what to say or where to begin. We'll start with what's happening in your life right now, whether that's constant anxiety, difficulty focusing, tension in your relationships, feeling down and unmotivated, or simply being overwhelmed by everything on your plate. I'll ask questions to understand what you've been experiencing, how it's affecting your everyday life, and what you've already tried. We'll also talk about what you would genuinely like to be different rather than focusing only on what's going wrong. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, comfortable, and with a clear sense of what we can begin working on together.
