Great to meet you!

I will begin with a bit of background about myself, that is what you are here looking for. I have worked as marriage and Family Therapist in both Nevada and New York throughout the past 15 years. I have worked with a wide range of people including children and adults with cognitive and/or developmental disabilities as well as neurodivergent individuals. I currently work a "day job" for a non profit clinic where I see many children and adults with varying diagnoses, I possess a broad perspective, !of the world and provide a safe, comfortable place for people to share their mental health concerns.

My approach to therapy

I take a eclectic and comforting approach to therapy, utilizing a range of evidence-based techniques. I integrate person-centered therapy, solution-focused family therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed practices. I emphasize the importance of strengthening our parasympathetic nervous system to effectively reduce stress, anxiety, and anger. Our bodies and brains are inherently connected; when we calm one, the other naturally follows. My goal is to seamlessly connect your body's "feelings" with your brain's "feelings." With a wealth of diverse experiences, I hold a broad perspective and approach each situation with assurance and insight.

What you can expect from me

We all have things in our lives that we can learn from. I understand how overwhelming negative thoughts and emotions can be, and my goal is to support you in finding greater positivity and stability in your life. By reshaping the way you see yourself and your surroundings, we can make meaningful changes to enhance your mood and overall quality of life. You are not alone in this journey; I am here to help you every step of the way.
