Courtney Wilder-Whiting

I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with experience in addiction medicine and mental health care. I specialize in treating anxiety, ADHD, depression, bipolar disorders, substance use disorders, and trauma-related conditions. I also have experience working with clients who have chronic pain, especially when it overlaps with mental health or substance use. My goal is to provide a warm, supportive, judgment free space where you feel heard and respected while working toward meaningful, real life improvements.

My approach is collaborative, supportive, and goal oriented. I combine medication management with therapy-based techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral strategies. I meet clients where they are, whether they are ready for change or just beginning to explore it. I also focus on harm reduction and helping clients build practical coping skills that support both mental health and overall functioning.

In the first session, we will review your history, current concerns, and what you hope to get out of treatment. I take time to understand your background and what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past. Together, we will create a plan that is realistic and tailored to your needs. My goal is for you to leave feeling understood, supported, and clear on the next steps.
