Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Courtney! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University, where I also completed a certificate in Trauma Counseling. My clinical background includes working with children, adolescents, and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, and other life challenges. I have a particular passion for supporting individuals healing from childhood sexual abuse and other experiences of sexual, emotional, and psychological trauma.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and guided by your pace and needs. I integrate EMDR and Somatic Experiencing (SE), drawing on the connection between the mind and body to help clients process past experiences, reconnect with themselves, and develop a greater sense of safety and balance.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation for our work together. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’ve been navigating, and what you hope to gain from the process. You’ll have space to share as much or as little as feels comfortable, and there’s no expectation that you have everything figured out before you walk through the door.
