What you can expect from me

In your first session with a me, you can expect a welcoming, confidential space focused on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. I will typically ask about your current concerns, personal background, and goals for therapy, and will explain my approach, confidentiality policies, and what sessions usually look like. This is also a chance for you to ask questions, share what you’re hoping for, and get a sense of whether the therapist feels like a good fit. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—the first session is about starting the relationship, setting expectations, and taking the first step at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
