Great to meet you!

I completed my doctorate in clinical psychology at the University of Indianapolis, internship at Texas State University, & post-doctoral fellowship at the San Diego VA, where I specialized in psychiatric rehabilitation. I obtained additional specialty training in treating panic, PTSD, phobias, & OCD. I enjoy working with patients to engage in healthier behaviors and improving their quality of life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to treatment is first & foremost an "evidence based approach". What that means is I utilize a variety of well researched principles & techniques to assist you in moving towards the life you want. We will work together to understand the relationship between your thoughts, feelings, & behaviors all in service of helping you obtain the life that you want. This approach often involves developing practical & personal tools and skills to address a variety of situations and stressors.

What you can expect from me

People often feel stuck & getting help is one of the best things you can do. As your psychologist, we will first spend time understanding each other, your situation, & then devise a plan of action to help you accomplish your goals. We will then develop & hone a set of strategies & skills that will help you create the life that you want. Along the way we will trouble shoot, enhance, & customize your treatment to who you are & your history as a person.
