Great to meet you!

With over thirty years of experience in the mental health field, I have developed a comprehensive understanding of the complexities of mental health care. My career has spanned multiple roles, including ten years as a Registered Nurse and the past six years as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in community mental health. This extensive background has equipped me with the expertise to seamlessly integrate evidence-based practices, incorporating medication management as a crucial component of holistic recovery. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from Rivier University in 2018. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals experiencing a range of conditions, including mood and thought disorders, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, and intellectual and developmental disabilities.

A bit about my approach to therapy

By combining evidence-based practices with behavioral modification techniques, we can significantly enhance both mental and physical health outcomes. Life can indeed be serious and challenging, but I believe that humor and healing can go hand-in-hand. My approach is to make the recovery journey not only effective but also enjoyable and engaging. My goal is for my patients to look forward to our time together, finding comfort and growth in our collaborative process. I hope that they will always remember the positive impact of our work together and carry it forward in their lives.

"To persevere is important for everybody, don't give up, don't give in. There is always an answer to everything".

What you can expect from our first session

As an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, I specialize in providing comprehensive mental health care that integrates evidence-based treatments tailored to each individual's unique needs. My approach combines medication management with various therapeutic modalities, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Nutrition and Supplement guidance. Patients appreciate my approachable communication style, non-judgmental acceptance, and sense of humor, which foster a comfortable and supportive environment. My goal is to make our sessions something patients look forward to, as we work together to enhance their mental health and overall well-being.
