Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nicholls State University. I specialize in supporting teens, young adults, and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, men’s issues, and family challenges. I’m trained in EMDR, REBT, and mindfulness-based approaches, and I adapt therapy to meet each person where they are. Before moving into private practice, I worked in both clinical and school settings, which shaped the collaborative and compassionate way I approach counseling.

My approach to therapy

I see therapy as a partnership where trust, honesty, and empathy matter most. My style is warm and supportive, while also giving space for growth and change. Sometimes our work means gently exploring old wounds, and other times it’s about learning new strategies to handle what life is throwing at you right now. I utilize modalities like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) and mindfulness to best what each client needs.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a safe and welcoming space where you don’t have to face your struggles alone. My hope is that you leave each session feeling more grounded, supported, and equipped with tools that actually fit your life. Over time, clients often notice a growing sense of resilience, peace, and hope for what lies ahead.
