Great to meet you!

As a double board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Provider, I believe that prioritizing mental health is essential to living a stable, fulfilling life.

Seeking help is often one of the hardest — yet most courageous — steps a person can take, and I want to commend you for being here.

For over 11 years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for adults and the geriatric population, navigating challenges in hospitals and communities with diverse diagnoses, including mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, insomnia, and dementia.

As a trilingual provider — fluent in English and Portuguese, and conversational in Spanish — I am deeply committed to ensuring that language is never a barrier to receiving high-quality mental health care. Everyone deserves to feel understood in the language that feels most natural to them.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in compassion, evidence-based care, and profound respect for each individual’s unique journey.

My care is rooted in partnership, empowering you to take ownership of your mental health with guidance and support. Together, we’ll develop a treatment plan that honors your unique needs, values, and goals.

I foster a safe, inclusive, and nonjudgmental space where you can share freely, learn about your condition, and grow at your own pace. Your care adapts as you do, always grounded in trust, empathy, and best-practice medicine.

What you can expect from me

Each session is a thoughtful and comprehensive evaluation tailored to your unique concerns, goals, and lived experiences. Together, we’ll explore what’s bringing you in, clarify your needs, and begin building a personalized path toward healing.

By the end of our time together, you’ll leave with:

  • A clear understanding of your diagnosis
  • A personalized treatment plan tailored to your goals
  • Education about your condition and any recommended medications, including potential side effects
  • Guidance on lifestyle changes to support your overall wellness
  • Emotional support and a safe, nonjudgmental space to be heard

My goal is for you to leave feeling informed, validated, and hopeful — with a sense of clarity and partnership as we begin your care journey together.
