Great to meet you!

I'm a trauma therapist with a passion for helping people heal, grow, and live more empowered lives. For five years, I served as the Executive Director of an inpatient treatment facility, leading with heart, humor, and a deep commitment to trauma-informed care.

When I'm not working, you'll find me soaking up time with my favorite people usually outdoors, near the water, or chasing sunshine. I believe in the power of connection, fresh air, and a good laugh.

I primarily draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), both of which are evidence-based and well-supported for treating trauma, substance use, and a plethora of mental health challenges. I also incorporate mindfulness techniques to help clients develop present-moment awareness and emotional regulation skills.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that people are capable of meaningful change. I view therapy as a safe, structured space where clients can build self-awareness, receive support, and be guided toward personal growth and goal attainment.

What you can expect from me

In the therapeutic relationship, I see myself as a guide — someone who offers structure, insight, and challenge when needed, while always respecting the client’s pace and process. I take a direct, goal-oriented approach once a foundation of trust has been established. Goal setting is a core part of my work, helping clients stay focused and empowered throughout the therapeutic journey.

My sessions balance structure and flexibility. Some sessions follow a clear plan — particularly when using CBT tools or EMDR protocols — while others allow space for exploration, reflection, and deeper emotional work. I tailor the process to each individual’s needs, always maintaining a collaborative and respectful stance.
