Great to meet you!

I completed my BS in Community Health and MS in Social Work at PSU at Portland State University. I have worked in residential and settings with youth and adults. I blend body based mindful approaches, DBT-CBT skills with trauma informed practices. I also work from a creative-intuitive space to support use of other approaches that support each clients healing and self care including Reiki, yoga, breath work. meditation, walk-n-talk sessions, and integrating altered states for optimal health.

A bit about my approach to therapy

What one calls 'problems' are opportunities for growth. Most sessions you will come away with practical tools or new ways of thinking and feeling into and about your issues. I bring creativity and warmth and aim to teach and model kindness, acceptance and growth.

What you can expect from our first session

Many people at some point struggle with feelings of depression and anxiety. I work with individuals to understand the multitude of factors that are bringing about this experience. We each tend to personalize these problems; when in fact one's environment, history, family and many other things contribute to these feelings. We can sort through these and figure out where we have the most leverage and try out new behaviors.
