Great to meet you!

As a first-generation Mexican American and mental health therapist, I understand how culture, identity, and family dynamics can shape our inner world. I hold a BA in Psychology and an MS in Counseling Psychology, and I bring both clinical knowledge and lived experience to my work. I’ve had the privilege of working with adolescents, adults, and couples through a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I specialize in helping adolescents who are exploring their identity and sense of self, and adults who feel overwhelmed or uncertain about their next steps in life. I also enjoy working with couples to build stronger communication and respectful boundaries in their relationships. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to move toward the change you're seeking.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is direct, empowering, and client-centered. I believe in being honest and transparent while also creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and supported. I meet clients where they are, tailoring the process to fit their unique needs, strengths, and goals. I see therapy as a collaborative journey—we work together to explore what’s holding you back, challenge unhelpful patterns, and develop tools that help you move forward with confidence. Whether we’re unpacking anxiety, navigating a life transition, or improving relationship dynamics, my focus is on helping you gain clarity, build resilience, and reconnect with your sense of self.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to walk away from our sessions with a deeper understanding of themselves, practical tools to manage life's challenges, and a stronger sense of empowerment. Whether you’re working through anxiety, navigating a life transition, or improving relationships, I aim to help you gain clarity and perspective that you can apply in your everyday life. You’ll also leave with actionable strategies tailored to your specific needs—whether that’s coping skills for stress, techniques for building healthier boundaries, or ways to communicate more effectively in relationships. Ultimately, my goal is for you to feel more connected to your true self and confident in your ability to create meaningful, lasting change.
