Great to meet you!

I have been working with the adolescent at-risk population for about 20 years. I am passionate about helping others reach their full potential. I graduated from Texas A&M University in '00 (Whoop!) with my BA in Psychology. I graduated Hardin-Simmons University in 2015 with my MEd. I am currently working on my EDD from L. U. in Community Care Counseling & Traumatology.

My approach to therapy

My approach is very much a collaborative one. I work with my clients hand in hand during the healing process. I have been trained in various types of therapy and I will pull from them when appropriate. I don't believe in one cookie cutter way to help people.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to be challenged and empowered during our sessions. I do give homework; however, it is based on what you can handle in the moment. I may ask you to watch a movie, read a story, or listen to music. I will check in with you and give you space to let me know what is working and what is not working for you.
