Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a passion for helping children, adolescents, and families navigate life’s challenges. I specialize in trauma-informed care and have specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe, supported, and accepted just as you are. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs, recognizing that everyone has their own story, strengths, and experiences. I especially enjoy working with children and adolescents, helping them navigate difficult emotions, heal from trauma, build confidence, and develop healthy coping skills. Using evidence-based approaches such as TF-CBT, CBT, ACT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, I work alongside my clients to help them recognize their strengths, overcome challenges, and feel empowered to create meaningful change. My goal is for every client to feel seen, heard, and supported throughout their journey.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for me to get to know your child or teen and begin building a trusting relationship where they feel safe, comfortable, and supported. We’ll talk about their interests, strengths, feelings, and what brings them to therapy at a pace that feels right for them. Caregivers can expect to discuss their concerns, share helpful background information, and explore ways to support their child’s progress. I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating for both children and parents, so there is no pressure to have everything figured out. My goal is to create a welcoming, judgment-free space where children and teens feel heard and understood, while caregivers feel supported and involved in the therapeutic process.
