Great to meet you!

Hola, Piyali. Hello! I am a queer Latina Chicana mestiza (detribalized Caxcan/Iberian colonial) mother, storyteller, and decolonial somatic psychotherapist licensed in California, with fourteen years of clinical experience in the field of depth psychology. Ofrezco terapia en español y inglés.

My private practice, Imaginal Therapy + Sacred Arts, centers soul care and offers ketamine journeys. I am a graduate of Loyola Marymount University, Pacifica Graduate Institute, and the Hakomi Institute of California. My work is rooted in intergenerational trauma healing, tending to the family soul for personal and cultural transformation, and psychedelic and entheogen integration.

I support clients who feel called to reconnect with ancestry, heal cultural and familial wounds, and engage therapy as a path of remembrance, liberation, and meaning.

My approach to therapy

I work with clients using a holistic and experiential approach that honors collective wisdom through imagination, intuition, mindfulness, embodiment, dreamwork, and creative expression.

My treatment focus includes relationship healing, cultural and ancestral wounds, trauma resolution, ancestral lineage repair, animist parenting, kinship ethics, and reconnecting to the sacred. I value kindness, warmth, truth, beauty, humor, play, and curiosity as essential elements of the healing journey.

This work is for those who are ready to embody their lineage gifts, deepen connection to self and community, and support collective liberation.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we focus on forming a circle of safety and presence. We ground together, honor the support of the good earth and our ancestors, and orient to present-moment awareness of mind, body, and spirit.

The intention of the work guides our time. We begin establishing rootedness and attuning to natural rhythms, laying the foundation for ongoing healing that reconnects you to your sacred purpose and place within the greater ecology of being.
