Great to meet you!

As a Los Angeles native I grew up in a culturally diverse environment learning Spanish at an early age. After working in the mental health field for over ten years, I received a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California and started my own group practice called New Terrain Therapy. At New Terrain Therapy we offer a wide variety of specialty therapy to support the clients we serve.

My approach to therapy

We use a client-centered, trauma focused approach in our treatment modalities, utilizing evidence-based practices such as EMDR to provide a treatment approach thats tailored to each client’s unique needs. Therapy is not one size fits all, it's our goal to match you with the best therapist for you. We use a feedback informed treatment to get your thoughts and opinions on how we can make therapy best suited to you and your needs.

What you can expect from me

At New Terrain Therapy clients can expect to feel empathy, compassion and safety. It's our goal to provide unconditional positive regard while still challenging clients to grow and dig deep as they feel ready to do so. The journey of self- discovery can be a wild ride, so we always want you to feel like therapy is a safe haven during the ups, downs, and all arounds.
