Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 16 years of experience helping people heal from trauma, manage life transitions, and find balance between professional and personal well-being. My approach is compassionate, culturally sensitive, and grounded in evidence-based practices like CBT, CPT, and PE for trauma.

As a Certified Perinatal Coach and Childbirth Educator, I also support individuals and families through pregnancy, postpartum, and the emotional changes that come with these seasons of life. I especially enjoy working with Latinx professionals and others navigating identity, leadership, and growth.

I believe therapy should be a collaborative and empowering process. You don’t have to face life’s challenges alone—together, we can find your next step toward healing and fulfillment.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, culturally responsive, and solution-focused, with a strong emphasis on empowerment and narrative reframing. I help clients reshape their life stories by separating their problems from their identities, promoting a sense of agency and self-efficacy.

I honor clients’ unique backgrounds and identities, with particular understanding of the experiences of Latinx individuals in the U.S.

I address the connection between personal, relational, and professional domains, as well as the mind-body connection through my perinatal and trauma-informed training.

And I strive to create a safe, judgment-free space where clients feel supported and understood.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, compassionate, and judgment-free space where we begin getting to know each other. I’ll invite you to share what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from our work together. We’ll explore your goals, current challenges, and any important aspects of your personal or cultural background that shape your experience.

I’ll also explain my approach to therapy and answer any questions you have about the process so that you feel informed and comfortable moving forward. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and with a sense of direction about our next steps.
