Great to meet you!

Hey there! My name is Cristina and I am a bilingual, trauma-specialized therapist who has worked primarily with BIPOC and/or LGBTQIA+ community members, immigrants, asylum seekers and those navigating grief/loss. I enjoy supporting clients in learning or re-learning to trust their own bodies and lean into their ancestral knowledge and intuition.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy through a liberative, de-colonial and anti-oppressive lens that takes into account how various systems impact the lives of clients and their communities. This can look like talking through the impact of holding intersecting identities or strategizing together around what it looks like to find healing, joy, and connection in the midst of a chaotic world.

What you can expect from me

I am eclectic in my treatment approaches, knowing not one size fits all. Our sessions may incorporate grounding techniques, mindfulness meditations, art, music, or your own spiritual practices. Above all, my hope would be for you to find a safe place to land and someone to bear witness to and accompany you through your healing journey.
