Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Cristina. I believe every person brings unique strengths, experiences, and challenges into therapy, and I strive to create a compassionate, affirming space where you feel supported and understood. I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, trauma, panic disorders, stress, family concerns, relationship challenges, and issues related to identity and belonging. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck in unhelpful patterns, or unsure how to move forward. Together, we'll explore the thoughts, emotions, and experiences that may be contributing to those struggles while building healthier ways of responding. As a bilingual therapist providing care in English and Spanish, I value creating a culturally sensitive environment where clients feel empowered to show up authentically. My goal is to help you reconnect with your strengths and create lasting, meaningful change that supports emotional well-being and healthier relationships.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and individualized because I believe healing happens when people feel safe, heard, and accepted. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, and I tailor treatment to meet you where you are. I frequently draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Behavioral Modification, Behavior Management, Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Humanistic Therapy, Art Therapy, and strengths-based interventions to support growth and healing. Together, we'll identify patterns that no longer serve you and replace them with healthier thoughts, emotional responses, and behaviors. Sessions are designed to provide both practical tools and opportunities for deeper self-understanding. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, OCD, stress, family concerns, relationship issues, or life transitions, my goal is to help you move forward at a pace that feels supportive and sustainable while building resilience and confidence along the way.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a supportive, affirming, and nonjudgmental environment where your experiences and goals are respected. I believe meaningful healing happens when people feel truly seen, heard, and understood. Together, we'll create a space where you can explore difficult emotions, celebrate your strengths, and work toward the changes that matter most to you. I will meet you where you are and tailor therapy to your individual needs rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. As we work together, my hope is that you'll develop healthier coping skills, improved emotional balance, stronger relationships, and greater confidence in yourself. You don't have to navigate life's challenges alone, and meaningful change is possible.
