Great to meet you!

I am a compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 17 years of experience supporting individuals and couples through life’s challenges. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida International University and my Master of Social Work from Barry University. I am clinically licensed in both Georgia and Florida.

Throughout my career, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, crisis situations, and life transitions. I have a strong passion for supporting women through various stages of life, including motherhood, perimenopause and menopause, as well as pre- and post-partum experiences. I also specialize in helping clients process grief and loss, trauma—including physical, emotional, and sexual abuse—and relational wounds.

In addition, I am deeply committed to working with couples. I support partners facing premarital concerns, communication difficulties, emotional disconnection, conflict resolution challenges, and affair recovery. I have completed Levels 1, 2, and 3 Practicum Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, which guides my work in helping couples rebuild trust, strengthen connection, and improve communication.

I am also a Certified Foundational Clinical Supervisor through the NASW Georgia Chapter and a Qualified Supervisor in the state of Florida. I remain actively involved as a member of the National Association of Social Workers.

My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and client centered. I use an integrative approach, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, strengths-based, and solution-focused modalities. I am fluent in both English and Spanish and am passionate about empowering clients to recognize their resilience, overcome obstacles, and create meaningful, lasting change—always meeting you where you are.

My approach to therapy

I take a person-centered approach to therapy, which means you are at the heart of the process. I meet you where you are and move at a pace that feels right for you, creating a space grounded in trust, authenticity, and support. Whether you’re coming in as an individual or as a couple, I work alongside you—offering gentle guidance, honest reflection, and thoughtful challenges when helpful—to support your growth, healing, and deeper understanding of yourself and your relationship.

What you can expect from me

After our first session, I hope you begin to feel a sense of relief, along with a renewed sense of hope and optimism for what lies ahead. Whether you’re coming in as an individual or as a couple, we’ll work together to build healthy tools and practical coping strategies to navigate life’s challenges more effectively. For couples, this may also include strengthening communication, deepening understanding, and reconnecting with one another. My goal is for you to feel more empowered and confident—both within yourself and, when applicable, within your relationship—so you can move through future challenges with greater stability, peace, security, and even joy.
