Great to meet you!
I am a compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 17 years of experience supporting individuals and couples through life’s challenges. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida International University and my Master of Social Work from Barry University. I am clinically licensed in both Georgia and Florida.
Throughout my career, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, crisis situations, and life transitions. I have a strong passion for supporting women through various stages of life, including motherhood, perimenopause and menopause, as well as pre- and post-partum experiences. I also specialize in helping clients process grief and loss, trauma—including physical, emotional, and sexual abuse—and relational wounds.
In addition, I am deeply committed to working with couples. I support partners facing premarital concerns, communication difficulties, emotional disconnection, conflict resolution challenges, and affair recovery. I have completed Levels 1, 2, and 3 Practicum Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, which guides my work in helping couples rebuild trust, strengthen connection, and improve communication.
I am also a Certified Foundational Clinical Supervisor through the NASW Georgia Chapter and a Qualified Supervisor in the state of Florida. I remain actively involved as a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and client centered. I use an integrative approach, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, strengths-based, and solution-focused modalities. I am fluent in both English and Spanish and am passionate about empowering clients to recognize their resilience, overcome obstacles, and create meaningful, lasting change—always meeting you where you are.
