Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Cristina, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida with experience providing therapy in both inpatient behavioral health and private practice settings. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with adults from a variety of backgrounds navigating anxiety, depression, substance use, low self-esteem, stress, relationship challenges, and major life transitions.

I enjoy working with people who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply trying to make sense of where they are in life and where they want to go next. I have a particular interest in perinatal mental health, including pregnancy, postpartum, fertility challenges, and the identity shifts that can come with motherhood. I also enjoy supporting young adults as they navigate new stages of life, relationships, identity, and finding their sense of direction.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable enough to truly be yourself. My approach is conversational, supportive, and collaborative—we’ll talk through what’s going on, make sense of the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and figure out what moving forward looks like for you. I draw from CBT, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy, but I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Our work together will be shaped by who you are, what you’re experiencing, and what you need most from therapy.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know you and what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’re currently experiencing, what feels most important to you, and what you hope to gain from our work together. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you and work together to identify goals that feel meaningful and realistic. My hope is that you leave our first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of how we can move forward together.
