Great to meet you!

Are you dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, stress, major life changes, self-esteem concerns, or parenting struggles? You don't have to face these challenges alone.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with more than 23 years of experience working with families, I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients of all ages can feel heard, understood, and empowered. Together, we will work to identify obstacles, build on your strengths, and develop practical strategies to help you create meaningful, lasting change.

Using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing, I help clients develop the skills and confidence needed to manage life's challenges more effectively.

Whether you're seeking support during a difficult time, looking to improve relationships, strengthen self-esteem, or find greater balance and resilience, I am committed to helping you move toward your goals and improve your overall well-being.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is a collaborative and supportive process built on trust, respect, and genuine connection. My goal is to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you feel safe to share your experiences, explore challenges, and work toward meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a strong foundation for our work together. My goal is to create a welcoming, comfortable, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard and supported.

During this session, I will take time to learn about you, including your current concerns, personal history, strengths, relationships, and what has brought you to therapy. We will discuss your goals and what you hope to gain from the counseling process. You are encouraged to share at your own pace—there is no pressure to tell your entire story in one session.

I will also explain the therapy process, answer any questions you may have, and review important information such as confidentiality and practice policies. Together, we will begin identifying areas of focus and develop an initial plan tailored to your needs and goals.

Many clients feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is completely understandable. My priority is to help you feel comfortable, respected, and supported as we begin this journey toward growth, healing, and positive change.
