Great to meet you!

  • I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a background in mental health, addiction recovery, grief support, crisis intervention, and performance coaching. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years helping people create meaningful change through high performance coaching, fitness, nutrition, and behavior change work, which gives me a unique perspective on both emotional healing and sustainable personal growth.
  • I specialize in helping adolescents, emerging adults, and women who are struggling with anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, people-pleasing, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, and relationship challenges. Many of my clients are students, dancers, athletes, performers, helping professionals, and other high-achieving individuals who are used to pushing themselves hard but are finding that what once worked is no longer sustainable.
  • Many of the people I work with feel stuck between who they've been and who they're becoming. They may be navigating identity shifts, career changes, grief, burnout, body image concerns, or difficulty trusting themselves. They often tell me they're tired of carrying everything on their own and want a space where they can finally stop performing and simply be human.
  • I also enjoy working with LGBTQIA+ clients and individuals seeking a therapy experience that feels affirming, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to be fully yourself while developing practical tools that help you move forward with greater confidence, clarity, and self-trust.

My approach to therapy

  • I believe symptoms often make sense when we understand the experiences, environments, and expectations that shaped them. Rather than focusing solely on what's "wrong," I help clients understand what's happening beneath the surface and develop healthier ways of responding to life's challenges.
  • My style is warm, collaborative, and practical. I balance emotional processing with concrete tools and strategies that clients can begin applying immediately. Sessions often explore patterns such as anxiety, perfectionism, self-criticism, burnout, emotional overwhelm, people-pleasing, difficulty setting boundaries, and feeling disconnected from yourself.
  • I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, strengths-based therapy, somatic techniques, and nervous system regulation practices. Together, we'll build emotional awareness, resilience, self-compassion, and skills that support lasting change.
  • I don't believe therapy is about "fixing" you. More often, it's about helping you understand yourself more deeply, reconnect with your strengths, and create a life that feels more aligned with who you truly are.

What you can expect from me

  • Your first session is a chance for us to get to know one another and determine whether we're a good fit. There is no pressure to have everything figured out before you arrive.
  • We'll spend time discussing what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, and what you'd like life to look like if therapy were successful. I'll ask questions about your history, current stressors, strengths, support systems, and goals so I can better understand your unique experience.
  • Many clients tell me they leave their first session feeling like they can finally exhale. For the first time in a long time, they have a space where they don't need to perform, have all the answers, or hold everything together. My goal is for you to feel heard, understood, and accepted exactly where you are.
  • Together, we'll begin identifying priorities for treatment and creating a plan that feels realistic, personalized, and supportive of the changes you want to make. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, burned out, anxious, or simply ready for something to change, you don't have to navigate it alone.
