Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Crystal, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges with compassion and evidence-based care. I earned my Master of Social Work from Campbellsville University and have extensive experience providing treatment for both mental health and substance use disorders.

My areas of clinical focus include post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, and working with members of the LGBTQ+ community. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to achieve their personal goals. Whether you are coping with trauma, managing emotional difficulties, or seeking personal growth, I am committed to helping you build resilience and improve your overall well-being.

My approach to therapy

I enjoy using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize unhelpful thought patterns, challenge negative beliefs, and develop healthier ways of thinking. Together, we work to rebuild thought processes that promote emotional well-being, resilience, and lasting positive change. I also incorporate Solution-Focused Therapy, helping clients identify their strengths, set meaningful goals, and focus on practical steps toward the life they want to create.

Whether you are working through trauma, managing anxiety or depression, navigating life transitions, or seeking personal growth, I am committed to walking alongside you with empathy, encouragement, and practical tools to help you move forward with confidence and hope.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and it's completely normal to be nervous. My goal is to make your first session feel comfortable, welcoming, and judgment-free.

During our first session, I'll spend time getting to know you—your story, what brought you to therapy, and the challenges you're currently facing. We'll talk about your concerns, your goals, and what you hope to gain from our time together.

We'll also explore your strengths, as well as the areas where you may be feeling stuck. Understanding both helps us create a treatment plan that is personalized to your unique needs. Therapy isn't about focusing only on what's wrong—it's also about recognizing what's already working and building on those strengths.

I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. Together, we'll begin identifying patterns that may be holding you back and work toward developing healthier ways of thinking and coping. I also enjoy using a solution-focused approach, helping you discover practical steps that move you toward the life you want.

Most importantly, this first session is about building a connection. You don't have to have all the answers or know exactly where to start. Just come as you are—I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your journey.

💙 Healing begins with one conversation.
