Great to meet you!
I became a counselor because I know firsthand how overwhelming life's challenges can feel and I believe no one should navigate them alone. My passion for this work grew out of my own experiences with change, resilience, and the healing power of support. That personal understanding allows me to bring not only professional guidance but also empathy and relatability into every session.
I hold a Master's degree in Counseling and Guidance from the University of Texas at Brownsville, now known as University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) in Texas. My professional background includes over 10 years experience working with diverse populations in settings such as schools, community mental health, non-profits and the federal government. I have had the privilege of helping clients from all walks of life, including adolescents, adults, and families.
My areas of focus include:
- Anxiety, depression and stress management
- Life transitions and adjustment issues (career, relocation, divorce, loss)
- Relationship and family concerns
- Trauma and grief recovery
- Support for veterans and their families
