Great to meet you!

I am passionate about helping individuals and families navigate life's challenges, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change. With several years of experience in the mental health field, I have had the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, adults, and families from a variety of backgrounds.

I enjoy working with children ages 9 and older, teens, and adults who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, life transitions, or everyday stressors. My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, with an emphasis on creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.

I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and positive change, and I strive to help clients develop the insight, confidence, and practical tools needed to navigate life's ups and downs.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is a collaborative process built on trust, understanding, and a genuine connection. My approach focuses on recognizing and building upon each client's unique strengths while helping them navigate challenges, develop new skills, and work toward meaningful personal growth. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I draw from a variety of therapeutic techniques to meet each client's individual needs, goals, and circumstances. I strive to create a comfortable, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to make positive changes in their lives.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, trusting relationship. I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating, so my goal is to create a relaxed, welcoming, and judgment-free environment where you feel comfortable being yourself. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, explore any challenges you may be experiencing, and discuss what you hope to gain from our time together. I believe therapy should move at a pace that feels right for you, so there is no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with. Most importantly, our first session is about making sure you feel heard, understood, and supported as we begin working toward your goals.
