Great to meet you!

I am excited about being able to work with individuals and families and help to address areas they are struggling in and help guide them through helpful skills. My career has afforded me the opportunity to work to work with a diverse population of clients in community-based agencies where I have provided outpatient, inpatient, hospital, and detention centers.

Mental health is an area that found me after working with young people in a different setting and wanting to get a better understanding of the underlying issues contributing to mental health and behavioral issues.

In my current full-time role, I am working with young males in a detention center for various offenses. Through this experience and my past experiences, I have found young adults into middle age is the population group I have the most experience working with.

I have attended Florida International University where I received my bachelor's degree in English. For my master's I attended the University of Phoenix and received my degree in Psychology. In addition, I completed the necessary courses for marriage and family therapy at Saint Thomas University.
