Crystal Martinez

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Science degree in Counseling from Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi. I have worked to address concerns including trauma, anxiety, parenting problems, relationship issues, transitions and adjustment, self-esteem and stress management. I am well versed in working with individuals and families involved in the legal system as well as Child Protective Services. Family issues include working with blended, adoptive and foster families.

I use a variety of therapy models and together we will decide the best fit for you. I believe that the healing process is aided by a strong, healthy therapeutic relationship as well as taking interests into account. I enjoy incorporating play, art, music and faith into therapy. Christian Counseling is offered as requested and involves the use of evidenced based practice with proven techniques and skills from a Christian foundation to best meet an individual’s needs.

In your first session you will find comfort and relief in new skills gained. My goal is to empower you with your existing resiliency and strength. Together we will determine a plan with clear goals that we will work through to achieving a renewal of mind.
