Crystal Moore

Hello, I’m Crystal. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to supporting Individuals and families throughout Illinois. My journey in mental health began in 2019, working in community health centers, schools, the legal system, and hospitals, where I’ve had the pleasure of helping countless individuals navigate their mental health challenges. I approach my work in a caring and respectful manner. I provide a supportive and safe space for healing and growth, where trust and empathy are the heart of my work. Therapy with me is a supportive partnership focused on healing, growth, and developing skills that foster long-term well-being. My goal is to build resilience and restore hope, and I strive to meet each person with respect and authenticity.

My specialties include addiction treatment, depression, anxiety, grief & loss, LGBTQ+ support, trauma, life transitions, emotional healing, and chronic illnesses. I utilize evidence-based interventions while tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals. My therapeutic style is collaborative, ethical, and client-focused, with emphasis on emotional safety, self-awareness, and sustainable coping strategies.

Clients often express feeling nervous before their first session. I do my best to create an environment to help all of my clients feel safe and comfortable. It takes a lot of courage to really dive into one's issues. I respect that courage. Our first session is all about getting to know my clients which means answering a variety of questions. By the end of the session, each client will have new insights and a few new tools to begin their healing journey.
