Great to meet you!

As a licensed counselor with a diverse and extensive background, I am committed to guiding you through your journey of self-discovery, emotional healing, and personal empowerment. I bring a wealth of professional experience to my practice. My career began as a teacher for students who are Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing, Blind, and DeafBlind. Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and proficient in Braille, I have a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by individuals with sensory impairments.

I have worked as a Mental Health Counselor in correctional settings, supporting individuals dealing with PTSD, mood disorders, suicidal ideation, substance abuse, family violence, homelessness, anxiety, and stress.

I am here to help you find clarity, hope, and strength. No matter what you're facing, there is always a path forward. I am deeply committed to helping individuals and families overcome life’s obstacles in a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space. It's never too late to focus on your mental health and create positive change.

My approach to therapy

I take a Client-Centered Approach to therapy, tailoring treatment plans to meet your specific needs. Utilizing a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and Inner Child Healing. Together, we will work toward your personal growth and well-being.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is all about getting to know each other and creating a safe, comfortable space for you to share. We’ll talk about what brings you here, what you’d like to work on, and answer any questions you may have. Together, we’ll begin setting goals and planning your path forward. You don’t need to have everything figured out—just come as you are.
