Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I have been doing this work for 11 years. I am a Florida native and a women's college graduate, and that education shaped how I practice.

Most of my clients are women carrying anxiety, old trauma, and the particular exhaustion of being the person everyone else relies on. I am EMDR trained, and I work with trauma, anxiety, depression, self worth, relationship patterns, life transitions, and the postpartum season.

I see clients throughout Florida by secure video, with evening and weekend availability.

You do not need to be in crisis to start. If something has been running the show for a while, that is reason enough.

My approach to therapy

Warm, real, and a little funny. I am not a blank slate, and I will not sit in silence waiting for you to fill the air. I reflect what I notice, ask direct questions, and sometimes say the thing you were hoping someone would just say out loud.

My work draws on EMDR, CBT, and trauma focused and person centered approaches. When an old experience is still shaping how safe you feel today, EMDR lets us work with that memory directly instead of only talking around it. When the issue is more about patterns, boundaries, or a loud inner critic, we look at what is actually keeping it in place.

I do not treat you like a problem to solve. The way you respond made sense in the context where you learned it. The work is updating it for the life you have now.

What you can expect from me

The first session is mostly me getting to know you, and you deciding whether I am someone you can talk to. You do not need a prepared summary of your life.

We talk about what brought you here, what you want to feel differently, and enough history for me to understand the context. Expect a conversation, not an interview. You can cry, or not. You can say you do not know. You can tell me if something I say misses, and I would genuinely rather you did.

By the end we will have a rough sense of what we are working toward, and you will usually leave with something concrete to try. Most people feel lighter than they expected, mostly because they said things out loud that they had been carrying alone.
