Crystal Rivera Cronin

As a dedicated Clinical Mental Health Counselor, I am passionate about creating meaningful connections and fostering growth in my clients. I hold a B.A. in Fine Art with a minor in Psychology from S.U.N.Y Plattsburgh, and I have devoted the last ten years to serving military families across Europe and America. This unique experience fueled my desire to deepen my understanding of mental health, leading me to earn a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University in Missouri.

In my practice, I draw upon Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and a Family Systems Approach, all aimed at empowering my clients to discover and embody their best selves. My areas of focus include working with couples, families, children, adults, veterans, and active military personnel. I am trained in the Gottman Method, allowing me to effectively support couples facing challenges in their relationships, and I incorporate trauma-informed therapy rooted in my military background.

At the core of my practice is a commitment to building rapport and providing a supportive, safe space for my clients to navigate their difficulties. I take my ethical and professional responsibilities seriously, striving to deliver evidence-based therapies that facilitate personal growth and help individuals and families achieve their goals. Together, we can work towards building a fulfilling life worth living, rooted in resilience and hope.
