Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm so glad you're here. If you've been carrying the weight of anxiety, trauma, grief, difficult relationships, or life's unexpected challenges, you don't have to face them alone. Sometimes all we need is a safe place to finally say the things we've been holding inside. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with a background in Psychology and Counseling from the University of North Texas, and I work with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults to help them find healing, hope, and a renewed sense of peace.

I've always been a "talker," but more importantly, I've always been the person others trusted with their stories. Throughout my career, I've worked alongside people impacted by trauma, domestic violence, foster care, homelessness, grief, and mental health challenges. These experiences have shaped my belief that every person deserves to feel heard, valued, and supported, no matter where they are in their journey.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should feel like a conversation with someone who truly wants to understand your story, not someone who's there to judge or tell you how to live your life. My style is warm, collaborative, and tailored to you because no two people heal the same way.

I primarily use Adlerian Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy, which means we'll focus on understanding your life experiences, relationships, strengths, and personal goals while building on the qualities that already exist within you. Together, we'll explore what's been weighing on you, identify patterns that may no longer be serving you, and develop practical tools to help you move forward. Whether you're healing from trauma, processing grief, navigating anxiety, or adjusting to life's transitions, we'll work at a pace that feels comfortable and supportive for you.

What you can expect from me

Walking into therapy for the first time can feel vulnerable. You may wonder if you'll know what to say or worry that your struggles aren't "big enough." The truth is, you don't need to have the right words or all the answers.

My goal is to create a space where you can simply show up as yourself. You bring your authentic story, and I'll bring compassion, curiosity, and support. Together, we'll create an environment where healing feels possible. Many clients find that therapy becomes more than just a place to process difficult emotions, it becomes a place where they reconnect with themselves, gain confidence, discover new perspectives, and begin creating the life they truly want. My hope is that you leave each session feeling heard, encouraged, and a little lighter than when you arrived.
