Great to meet you!

Cshala Davis, LPC, LCDC-I

Trauma & Sex Therapist | Holistic Mental Health Provider | Veteran

Welcome. I’m Cshala Davis, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern, specializing in trauma and sex therapy. My approach is rooted in the belief that therapy should be a collaborative, healing relationship — one grounded in purpose, acceptance, transformation, and healing.

I integrate a holistic lens with evidence-based practices, including EMDR, Somatic Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and mindfulness meditation. I create a safe, intentional space where clients can heal from sexual trauma, domestic violence, human trafficking, and PTSD.

As a military veteran with personal experience in shift work and high-stress environments, I bring an understanding of how trauma and life transitions impact every layer of our wellbeing. My goal is to make therapy feel like a sanctuary — a place where you can be fully seen, heard, and supported on your path to healing.

Though my experience is rooted in trauma, I've discovered that our bodies absorb emotions we're unable to express, often leading to anxiety, pain, and depression. I am passionate about guiding individuals on a journey to uncover the essence of their lives and find healthy pathways to embrace their emotions.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is integrative, client-centered, and grounded in evidence-based practices that illuminate the path to healing from trauma and promote holistic well-being. I specialize in guiding individuals through the impacts of trauma by harmonizing several powerful modalities that nurture mind, body, and spirit.

I utilize EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help clients process and release distressing memories. Somatic therapy is woven to help clients reconnect with their bodies, restoring a profound sense of safety and regulation. I utilize Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to unearth and reframe unhelpful thought patterns that may emerge after trauma.

Mindfulness and meditation practices are seamlessly integrated throughout our journey together, cultivating present-moment awareness, diminishing anxiety, and enhancing emotional resilience. This holistic approach honors each client's unique experience, paving the way for lasting transformation through peace, acceptance, and healing.

What you can expect from me

In our work together, you will be reminded that you are not alone on this life's journey. Therapy with me is more than mere treatment; it is a sanctuary. In the time we share, I hope you find a space of peace, comfort, and acceptance—a place where you can embrace your authentic self without judgment.

Each session is a collaborative journey. As we navigate the healing process, I will support and guide you in reconnecting with your true self. Together, we will identify the barriers that hold you back and equip you with the tools and insights to live more freely and fully.

Ultimately, our sessions are a haven of restoration, where you feel safe, seen, and empowered to grow and thrive. This is your P.A.T.H to reclaiming the safe and vibrant self you know you can be. Let's discover Peace, Acceptance, Transformation, and Healing.
