Great to meet you!

I'm a former Associate Professor turned full-time psychotherapist. I utilize therapies that help people change relationship dynamics, overcome negative thinking, and start new life habits. I also enjoy incorporating spiritual aspects in counseling for those who are interested. My goal is to help people flourish with purpose and well-being in their lives.

My approach to therapy

I use a solution-focused, client-centered framework to help people overcome their challenges. I provide tailored treatment to help people break free from ruminating thoughts, addictive behaviors, emotional stuck-ness, or relationship dysfunction. I select a treatment approach based upon your uniques goals, personality, and problems. I provide you with a chance to tell your story, help you better understand yourself, and teach new ways of coping. My clients find relief from painful emotional experiences and discover a better version of themselves. I'll help you gain insight but also set in motion new habits and ways of thinking. For couples, I use Emotionally-Focused Therapy to help address problematic cycles and to develop new ways of connecting.

What you can expect from me

My biggest boast as a therapist is that I make people feel like I've been where they are, regardless if that's the brink of divorce, the mires of depression, or the self-defeating loop of addiction. You don't have to go through it alone, there's a way to something better.
