Great to meet you!

I'm a bilingual therapist (English/Spanish) Cyndi obtained with a Masters of Social Work from the University of Southern California in 2012. (Fight on!) I've been a practicing as a psychotherapist for over ten years, and specializes in working with BIPOC (Black,Indigenous, People of Color). I aim to create spaces inclusive of all cultures, races, genders, ages, and sexual orientations. I.m trained in EMDR, and draw on CBT and mindfulness to support real healing.

My approach to therapy

One of my favorite quotes is, "We got to FEEL it to HEAL it." You may find yourself feeling insecure, sad, full of anger, or full of despair but there is HOPE! None of it may make sense at this point and that is ok. I am here to help you re-connect with yourself and get to a place where you have more compassion and love for yourself. We are not always able to control the events that happen on the outside, but we ARE able to control what goes on inside of us and how we react to those events.

What you can expect from me

My intention is to offer a warm, gentle and nourishing space where healing feels possible for you. Together we will discover what is blocking you from accessing your joy and connecting with the parts of you that feel relief. I am here to help you connect with the part of you that feels motivated, supported and confident!
