Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with 13 years of experience helping people recover from depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, relationship issues, anger, grief, and more. I have training and experience helping people heal from childhood abuse and domestic violence. I am passionate about empowering people to regain their inner strength, confidence, sense of self, emotional balance, and happiness. I am accepting new patients. Please call for a FREE phone consultation.

My approach to therapy

Because the relationship between therapist and client creates the foundation for healing and growth, I strive to create a warm, caring, respectful relationship with each person I work with. Within that context, I use a variety of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). I help people challenge their perspectives, build skills, and process emotions. I tailor my approach to each person's individual needs and preferences.

What you can expect from me

People who work with me can expect to make progress toward the goals they set at the beginning of therapy. Some common benefits people experience are: feeling understood, improved mood, reduced anxiety, an understanding of how past trauma still affects them and how to change that, reduced PTSD symptoms, reduced anger, better self-esteem, and development of new skills (for coping, for regulating the nervous system, for managing anger, for creating healthy relationships, for setting boundaries).
