Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Dr. Cynthia Abraham. I am a South Florida native, born and raised in Pembroke Pines. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida and a Master of Science in Nutrition from Nova Southeastern University. I completed medical school at Nova Southeastern University Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2022. I then completed my psychiatry residency at JFK North Hospital, where I served as chief resident during my final year.

My approach to therapy

I believe that effective psychiatric care begins with a strong patient-physician relationship built on trust, empathy, and collaboration. My goal is to help patients improve their mental health by integrating evidence-based treatments, personalized medication management, and healthy lifestyle strategies. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, OCD, and other mental health conditions. Outside of work, I enjoy walking my mini cockapoo, Sasha, practicing yoga, playing video games, caring for orchids, and tending to my rose and hibiscus garden.
