Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, and I came to this work later in life after a career in childcare and education. That path gave me patience and a real curiosity about how people grow and change. My clinical training began working with a sexual abuse treatment program for children, and I have since shifted my practice to focus on adults. I bring both life experience and clinical training into the room, and I care most about making sure you feel genuinely heard and never judged.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and practical. I meet you where you are, whether that is a major life transition, caregiving stress, or just feeling stuck and unsure why. I take time to build trust before pushing into deeper work, and I shape each session around what you actually need that day rather than following a rigid script. Therapy with me feels like a real conversation and a partnership, not a lecture, and I draw on both my training and my own life experience to support you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, expect a relaxed, conversational tone rather than a clinical interview. We will talk through what brought you to therapy, what you are hoping to get out of it, and any background that feels relevant to share. There is no pressure to have it all figured out. My goal is for you to leave that first meeting feeling comfortable, understood, and a little more hopeful. Sessions are held over telehealth, so you can meet with me from wherever feels most comfortable for you.
