Great to meet you!

My name is Cynthia Baez, and I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor passionate about supporting children, teens, and adults navigating life’s most difficult challenges. I specialize in helping clients who struggle with eating disorders, anxiety, stress, depression, ADHD, life transitions, and other mental health concerns. Many of the individuals I work with feel overwhelmed, stuck in negative thought patterns, or uncertain about how to cope. Whether it’s emotional distress, difficulty focusing, or feeling like you’re not “yourself” anymore, I want you to know—you don’t have to face this alone.

My approach to therapy

In our work together, we’ll focus on understanding what’s beneath the surface—identifying your triggers, patterns, and underlying emotions. Our first few sessions are all about building a strong foundation: creating a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported. From there, we’ll use evidence-based techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and exposure therapy to develop tools and strategies tailored to your unique needs.

What you can expect from me

If any of this resonates with you, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. I invite you to reach out. Let’s talk about where you are, where you’d like to be, and how we can get there together.
