Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Cindy Beishir. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 18 years experience providing therapeutic mental health care to adults, families, children and couples. My approach is non-judgmental focusing on providing a safe space where you can be yourself. I do not expect people to do things "my way" but rather do things the way that works best for them in their situation. While I specialize in trauma and anxiety, I enjoy working with people who are struggling with day to day issues and need more support in addition to working with people to begin building healthy boundaries while increasing self-esteem & self-worth.

My approach to therapy

I have specialty training in a wide-range of clinical interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused CBT, Prolonged Exposure (PE), Brief Solution Focused Therapy and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will include a diagnostic assessment to determine current therapeutic needs and your treatment goals. I also like to spend time getting to know you, your history and what your day to day life looks like in the present.
