Great to meet you!

Are you feeling overwhelmed by life's challenges? I am here to help. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Life Coach, I specialize incorporating cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, and solution-focused strategies that work for individuals of all ages. With compassion and honesty, I offer support in managing issues such as depression, anxiety, relationships, divorce, grief, parenting, ADHD, and blended families. My goal is to help you identify practical solutions and guide you to finding solutions that work for you. As a mother of three grown children, I have found we all have so much in common. With over 25 years of experience as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I have dedicated my career to supporting clients' growth and well-being. After serving as an Executive Director for a behavioral health company, I chose to focus on direct client work. Fifteen years ago, I opened my private practice, and I truly enjoy the diversity of clients I work with. It’s rewarding to witness their progress and transformation firsthand.

My approach to therapy

I'm passionate about working with individuals, couples, and families across all ages. I utilize a problem-solving approach grounded in cognitive-behavioral therapy to help clients identify patterns, challenge unhelpful thoughts, and develop practical strategies. My goal is to support and guide clients in finding resolutions to concerns such as family challenges, parenting struggles, life transitions, anxiety, and depression. You can bring your concerns, and together we'll work towards effective, lasting solutions.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, supportive environment where we will discuss your concerns and goals openly. The primary focus is to get to know each other, understand your unique situation, and explore what you're hoping to achieve through therapy. We will also assess whether we're a good fit to work together, ensuring you feel comfortable and understood. Together, we'll start to develop a personalized plan tailored to your needs, incorporating problem-solving strategies and cognitive-behavioral techniques to help you move toward positive change. My aim is to create a collaborative space where you feel safe, supported, and empowered to begin your journey.
